Autoconnect disabled when opening Wi-Fi app

What's wrong?
Every time I open the Wi-Fi app, I have to re-enable the auto-connect feature, as it is disabled by the app opening.
A separate but related issue to note is that the notification is displayed twice every time the app is opened.
possibly try filing a bug with impala. the dev there was super helpful with resolving my issues with the wifi tui. he even taught me how to build the latest branch and try it on my machine to confirm the fix worked.
