Unfortunaly Ubuntu is not so familiar with Chrome & Chrome plugins. There is a lot of bugs in Chrome working under Ubuntu. I don't know what can I do. I have tested PHP Console on 3 computers with Ubuntu and it works fine, but without buttons in notification popups (because Chrome uses native Ubuntu notifications that does not support button).

I hope Google will fix Chrome working on Ubuntu soon. All I can recommend you now - is to try old version of PHP Console, may be it will works on your Ubuntu https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=ru#!forum/php-console-deprecated-version
