Is there a way to download password-protected videos?

For instance from Vimeo: some videos require a password. It seems that Youtube-DL supports that (on the CLI, you give the password as an extra parameter, after the URL). Shouldn't this be included to the downline interface? Or is it already possible to provide a password? (I didn't find how...).
