This allows the teams responsible for a helm chart in Kubernetes to edit values of a helm chart​​such as resources, environment variables, etc, without having to request this from the infrastructure team that maintains kubernetes.

Editing a helm chart would be the most complex case. A simpler and also useful case would be to edit just a Deployment in kubernetes.
