CarPlay doesn't keep screen on if app is active (Maps navigation) - AutoLock kicks in.

I set my auto-lock for the screen to time out at 2 minutes and then 5 minutes -- but with applications like Apple maps or Google maps my iPad usually knows not to auto lock. However, in CarPlay mode it does auto lock even though directions are still being broadcasted by Siri.
