Did you make any headway with getting this to work?

Just thought I'd comment. Two libraries that both use VideoToolbox and can RTMP are this one https://github.com/shogo4405/lf.swift and this one https://github.com/jgh-/VideoCore I'm testing with the first one as the second lacks RTMP authentication currently.
