Added command line parameter --config to specify the config_path

Open Fungur69 opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

I access my computer with ssh from systems without patched fonts and need to specify mode=compatible then. So I created an alternative configuration file and need a way to specify it. I could have added a parameter just for the mode, but there might be other cases where a different configuration is needed depending on situation, so this is a more general solution.

Oh man - I missed this and started commenting on #397 already which does the same thing. I'm not sure what the proper etiquette would be here. Since you opened the PR first I can merge yours. However you have additional changes here not related to the config argument - can you remove them?

Hello Brian,

The additional changes got added to my PR by accident. I don‘t know how to remove them and I‘m on vacation right now without a proper computer. Just do what‘s easiest for you. I don‘t need any recognition for this change.

Greetings
