[Question] Is the IgnoreControl detection functioning properly?
IgnoreControl is currently the most common detection and while some players have 2-3 detections, others get over 30 or more, and they happen mostly when players are doing instanced content (not just in one particular place).
So I wonder if this detections can be trusted or is likely to have false positives.
What would be the best setting for Anticheat.ReportsForIngameWarnings ? I wonder why is set to 70 by default - isn't this too much?
Would you recommend setting up an auto-kick/ban for reaching certain threshold of reports and if yes - what is this threshold?
Edit: So I went to Blackrock Depths to test myself and every time when the mobs throwed a net on my character, the anticheat was reporting my character as a potential cheater for IgnoreControl.
Another thing, I spent quite a lot of time stalking a player, which was reported (over 200 times) for using Zaxis hack in ICC. The reports were showing up while I was watching him and couldn't see anything out of ordinary.
...so these two detections seem very unreliable so far.
Some problems still occur. mainly in ICC in the use of the teleport object. I had problems leaving the automatic kick. players were receiving a kick when using the stance teleport. I decided to remove it, leave the reports and ban it manually with my own supervision.
