Tell us about your request Please provide a corretto 17 java runtime, the support lifecycle of Corretto 8 and Corretto 11 ending in 2026 and 2027 respectively gives us a 5 year lifecycle, 17 would buy 2 more years at a minimum.

Hello, the latest version of spring framework (6) and spring boot 3 (released in december) are only compatible with Java 17+. The limitation on corretto 11 prevents from running an up to date framework version.
Corretto11 is five years old. It's like a time warp back to the middle ages. The latest is Corretto20 - you're NINE releases behind. Corretto17 is the most reasonable upgrade level since it's the most recent LTS release.
Corretto21 is now GA https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2023/09/amazon-corretto-21-generally-available/
App runner is still stuck in 11..
Issue should be updated to request both 17 and 21 since both are LTS and 21 has been in GA for 4 months.
+1 Lack of support for Java 21 is a blocker for me in going for App Runner

I also have the same problem, nothing changed - see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/apprunner/latest/dg/service-source-code-java-releases.html corretto11 is the last version which is supported by aws apprunner
