When creating a ComputeEnvironment for Batch it is not possible to enable container insights via CloudFormation.

Thank you for opening this issue. We are continuing to track this feature request (cf. #1301), but it is still in the backlog. Currently, we are providing this data within the Batch console only and do not have plans for expansion via CFN on our roadmap.

We have made our product team aware of your request, however, and will consider this improvement in future cycles.

+1: we also need to activate ContainerInsights via CloudFormation parameter

This is a basic feature. Please escalate this internally. Not only that - EKS and ECS now both support "enhanced" monitoring for Container Insights. It should also be supported.

It's just a feature gap as it's running on the same compute infra as standard ECS clusters.
