Updating dependencies

Hi there, Do you think it's possible to get a new release with some updated dependencies? I had to downgrade to redd 0.7.10, but this version doesn't really work for what i need. For example http I'm having issues with another gem that needs a newer version redd (= 0.8.8) was resolved to 0.8.8, which depends on http (~> 2.2)

twitter (= 7.0.0) was resolved to 7.0.0, which depends on
  http (~> 4.0)
