Hi guys,

It seems like the problems from the automation changes got worse.

A temporary solution would be to use the Appimage.

You can one click install it via gearlever.

In Gearlever itself you can also set the app to auto update by changing the source to Github and pasting this link: "https://github.com/aunetx/deezer-linux/releases/download//deezer-desktop--x86_64.AppImage"

This will maybe take a while until everything works again. The maintainer @aunetx seems to not have a lot of spare time right now. Please remember this is all volunteer work here :D

unfortunately, the AppImage also doesnt work.

It does work perfectly on my end. Can you explain what you did?

You need to press "move to app menu" in gearlever and select the correct deezer app when coming back from the browser or just uninstall the other deezer installs. Your system might get confused what deezer app to use.

Plus, could you please send me your system information (browser, deezer-version, what system)

The AppImage does work, but the problem is the same as before, you cant login, though this one doesnt crash tho. Maybe it works for you because you were logged in from before.

No. I deleted everything in /home/.../.config/deezer-desktop and the Appimage was able to log me in again. Maybe deleting it helps

I think the flatpak repo has an older version (6.0.110) of deezer that should work (it works at least for me). Or you can get an even older version of Deezer that is known to work as described here.

Cant believe it downgrading actually worked yaay! thanks a bundle. I am using 6.0.60 now (I should recheck but ig for me the 6.0.110 doesnt work as well)
