Astroquery.mast Documentation Fixes
Thomas Dutkiewicz pointed out to me that this method of authorization with the token parameter is deprecated:
Rather, the verification process is now bound to the login method, where you can still feed it a token and log into the system to get proprietary data:
The documentation will need to be updated accordingly
@bsipocz - we are planning to make a PR to consolidate a couple of documentation updates for astroquery.mast . Would it be possible to add @ttdutkiewicz as a contributor so I can tag him in PRs and assign him stuff?
@jaymedina - Unfortunately, I don't have the power to add him to the org, for the meantime, a workaround is that he needs to comment on the issue/PR and then can be assigned.
Welcome, @ttdutkiewicz! (I added you to this issue to test my theory above, feel free to remove yourself. Also I asked you to be added to the astropy org, if/when you get an invite please accept it, and then we don't need the comment+assign workarounds any more)
Somewhat related issue: the mast documentation examples take a very long time to run (15 mins and counting (as it regressed) in the latest cron job). I wonder whether it can be cut back on while keeping the same amount of content.
