I am wondering why this hasn't this been merged yet? python2 will be EOL in 4 months. Is ari-py dead? @matt-jordan @leedm777 If it isn't being maintained on github anymore, please update the package at PyPi atleast.

@smurfix is it different from https://github.com/M-o-a-T/aioari? I have tested the examples there. Anyways I'm here because asterisk documentation is still using ari-py which seems to be unmaintained.

aioari was the previous version. I'll redirect it to asyncari, which works with asyncio and trio.

The Asterisk people unfortunately do not seem to be motivatable to update that page. :-(
