Thank you for "AsTeRICS Grid" and I have a few issues

Hello.

I use AsTeRICS to help me with a lack of trust in knowing all of the words to put my thought processes and thinking in-to full phrases.

Thank you for your flexible communication app.. It looks more clean or simple than Cboard AAC, too - that "communication boards" app keeps on pushing intrusively after it loads to get a choice from me to upgrade my user account there, to a subscription to get "advanced edit functions".

The issues with it are:

  • If I log-in, the bundled JS gives console warnings of

wasn't able to decrypt string, try next salt... meta-data-[ID number]

many times before a login success.

  • "Update grid thumbnails" generating images... at 6%, a security error "tainted canvases may not be exported" then user input to the Google Chrome application window stopped that a little before 11 or 12 more of "error while creating [a] screenshot" were logged in the Chrome Dev-Tools console, as this quote of the console shows:

asterics-grid.bundle.js:2 SecurityError: Failed to execute 'toDataURL' on 'HTMLCanvasElement': Tainted canvases may not be exported. atasterics-grid.bundle.js:2:269405 atasync a (asterics-grid.bundle.js:2:625815) atasync asterics-grid.bundle.js:2:626420

and then this was sticking at saving a screen-shot for the last (ending thumbnail image) grid because

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length' at the asterics-grid.bundle.js, lines 625932, 626420, & line 2, from the console log.

I think this was from an empty grid.

I'm finishing this with a 2nd thanks - being a Free and Open Source software user and sometimes a developer & sharer of tech ideas, thank you for developing AsTeRICS to be free and open source "forever". I linked to it inside my Web app, over on GitLab, to help me use it logged in, wrapped with a text message box.
