Leaving aside other details of how authorship is verified, and regarding only the source digital media files:

Do I understand correctly that the digital media itself (for which authorship is proven) is not stored on the blockchain, but is stored in cloud infrastructure controlled by ascribe.io? But a hash (or digital signature) of the digital media is incorporated into what is stored on the blockchain?
