Outside contributors / maintaining

This seems like a useful lib for people, but I worry that no one will help if it's not actively maintained. Are there two or three people you could give contributor access to — preferably those who've contributed code — to help keep it alive?

Otherwise, it's hard to have confidence in using this when there are still minor open issues from over a year ago.

@iwasrobbed do you happen to know of an active fork of this library? I really like it, but it seems clear that it isn't being maintained. I am in the midst of a massive migration to swift 4, and would love to continue using this library.
