Add Hot Water climate entity...
...with the following features:
- The climate entity is disabled by default until the user enables it in the configuration.
- A temperature entity to read the current temperature can be configured by the user.
- A target temperature to stop heating the hot water can be configured.
- One of two modes for
HVACMode.AUTOcan be set:-
Normal(Default): Heat whenever the temperature drops below the target. This is in-line with the Wiser Room Heating -
Once: Heat to the target then not again within that schedule
-
- One of two modes for
HVACMode.HEAT/OFFcan be set:-
Normal(Default): use Heating and Idle for HVACMode.HEAT and OFF. This reflects the Wiser App's functionality better but cant automatically move from Off to HEAT. -
Override: use overrides to trackHVACMode.HEAT(specifically theHotWaterDescription's statesFromManualOverrideforHEATandFromManualModeforOFF)

@msp1974 , do you have any bandwidth to look over this? Thanks!
Apologies @markchalloner - been v busy with a new kitchen project for Christmas and looking at the issues caused by 2023.12 breaking the integration. I will have a look during Jan and try and get this into the integration for next release.
Like the idea and think others will also appreciate.
Thanks @msp1974 appreciate that and completely understand.
Hope you have a lovely rest of the year.
@msp1974 hope you had a good new year. Did you have any luck on this? Thanks
Hi, sorry this has taken so long. I have merged into dev branch. Would you be able to test and make sure this works as intended/expected under v3.4.5 (which is dev branch). Thanks. If all ok, this will be in the next release.
Thanks @msp1974 .
I reinstalled v3.4.5 but can't see the additional configuration options?
Installed the dev branch manually and all working well. Cheers!
