Statusbar height influences view

Open Slijkhuis opened this issue 11 years ago • 4 comments

When you, for example, turn the setting 'Personal Hotspot' on, the statusbar increases in height as soon as you connect to this hotspot. It needs about double the height to indicate the amount of users connected to the hotspot.

At first this is not a problem: 2014-08-05 22 20 35

When you then touch the screen, the following happens: 2014-08-05 22 20 39

It's difficult to see on this white background, but there is a black gap and a white gap at the bottom of the screen. The gap seems equal in height as the extra height needed for the statusbar.

It seems as if the height of the view is adjusted for the extra statusbar height, but the position of the view remains the same. How do I make sure that the view fills the entire screen?

To reproduce the problem in the iOS Simulator you can go to Hardware > Toggle In-Call Status Bar. This results in the same behaviour.

That's the menu showing up behind the status bar. I'll look into it and try to fix it this weekend.

Do you have any progress with this issue? Just encountered it too.. Maybe you can just point me in the right direction so I can try to fix it myself?
