[Feature]: Integration with database Oracle

Summary
I didn’t find Oracle database support in the built in integration
Why should this be worked on?
We thought it should be standard database used by many corporation as of MS SQL Server
I would like to reinforce that Oracle database support is essential to my company as many others
Important for us too as without Oracle Database support we can even move past the POC stage
Unfortunately I will have to use budibase until appsmith can integrate with oracle. I can do nothing without it

I am curious - how are you using budibase if it doesn't have a native Oracle connection?
I will upvote as well for this feature. I am wanting to go down the Appsmith route but as we don't have true developers other than myself, working on FDW or API is cumbersome and have to be contracted out. I have thought about moving to Retool but don't want to spend on a toolset when we are trying to get adoption.
I am curious - how are you using budibase if it doesn't have a native Oracle connection?
@frankremedy maybe the oracle integration isnt in the oficial budibase's documentation but it is already have native oracle integration. If you install budibase, you will see it.

I am happy to also pay for this type of integration with Enterprise Edition
While appsmith doesn't have native integration with oracle, i'm using an oracle service called ORDS (oracle rest data service). I think it's worth do a little search about it

I agree with all the posters, I'm evaluating using appsmith in our Org , without Oracle database support its a significant hurdle to adopting the tool as a low-code solution as we have 1000+ Oracle databases .
Options with this limit - FDW (gross) or use the Oracle API But bottom line, we would rather connect natively

I tried using + Oracle rest data service (ORDS) and it wasn't productive (brings an additional layer of complexity totally unnecessary). As long as appsmith doesn't have native integration with the oracle database, it won't be possible to use it here in my organization
Yeah Understand that in regards to the ORDS. Same with using an FDW. It has hindered our use of Appsmith for further application development to the point we are looking at other toolsets. We do use Apex but we want to move to platforms where the database won't matter.

Yeah looked at the PR and it looked like much of the work was completed.. Oracle Data source support would really help sell the need to spend on appsmith for low/code
We had some critical issues that came up in the past two weeks. The Oracle PR is now in progress, expect updates soon!
