[appserver-io-dist/windows] missing publisher information in installer

Open wick-ed opened this issue 10 years ago • 1 comments

Currently the there is a publisher listed as "unknown". This causes windows to warn when installing the package.

UAC:

  • Publisher MUST contain valid information
  • Publisher SHOULD be a trusted source

We have to generate a valid digital id for appserver.io and sign our installer package with microsofts signtool. We can consider to add appserver.io to microsofts app marketplace when requesting the valid digital cert id...
