Getting protobuf spec error

RuntimeError: Error compiling model: "Error reading protobuf spec. validator error: The model supplied is of version 7, intended for a newer version of Xcode. This version of Xcode supports model version 6 or earlier.".

I am on mac m1 pro

I caught the same error when trying to run the command of Image Generation with Python. I am using macOS 12.6.1

Although there are system requirements in the readme file, but they are in the Image Generation with Swift section, not in the python section.

  • macOS 13 or newer
  • Xcode 14.1 or newer with command line tools installed. Please check developer.apple.com for the latest version.

Seems like upgrading to 13.0.1 did the trick

F@####G Apple, no way to develop without hardware upgrade. (Mac Pro 5.1, Monterey, Vega64).
