hourly precipitation values are inconsistent

I called following API on 2022/8/24 twice and observed the hourly precipitation for New York for 2022-08-23

https://api.weatherstack.com/historical?access_key=<MY_ACCESS_KEY>&query=New York, New York, United States of America&historical_date=2022-08-23&hourly=1&interval=1 <<< The first call happened at 2022-08-24 05:22 (America/New_York time zone)

The second call happened at 2022-08-24 07:50 (America/New_York time zone)

Then I noticed the result of hourly precipitation values of two API calls are so different, can you please advise where the difference came from? From my understanding, 2022-08-23 is the past date, the historical values should be always the same on 2022-08-24. Please advise.
