"Too Many open files" on Ubuntu 23.04

code works as expected on multiple platforms except on ubuntu 23.04 . same code tested on mac m1, ubuntu 20.04, 22.04, arch, fedora, windows OK on Ubuntu 23.04 code sigabort with "Too Many open files"

increase ulimit or /etc/security/limit.conf do not fix this trouble Any workaround is welcome
