Traffic Stats Kafka In Flat JSON

This Improvement request (usability, performance, tech debt, etc.) affects these Traffic Control components:

  • Traffic Stats

Current behavior:

Currently, Traffic Stats is configured to send data to Kafka in a nested JSON format based on InfluxDB.

New behavior:

Traffic Stats should be able to send data to Kafka in a flat JSON format for easier data ingestion for downstream uses.
