What's Wrong?

"Read" and "Update" tool slow and will stuck main process of claude code. You could see animation stop update here

and claude code lost response to keyboard input, like ctrl+t, ctrl+o, esc, .etc

What Should Happen?

Main process of claude code should not be blocked by "Read" and "Update" tool. Animation should still update. Claude code should response to keyboard input, like ctrl+t, ctrl+o, esc, .etc

Steps to Reproduce

1. ask claude code to read a big file to give a code review.
2. sometimes claude code will stuck when "Read".
3. ask claude code to write something to a file
4. sometimes claude code will stuck when "Update"

Agree, Update tool feels too slow, took few minutes to apply 22 edits.
