I actually have no MCP server.. it's just that when I hit "/mcp", I would prefer it says: no MCP server found or sth, rather than a blank screen
I'm facing the same issue. This seems to happen when no MCP servers are configured.
Once I added a server with claude mcp add ... and entered claude -> /mcp, I was able to see the MCP controls menu.
I was experiencing the same issue, and I initially believed I had MCP servers. However, it turns out that somehow, my MCP settings were deleted or corrupted, and I had to manually re-import them from Claude Desktop outside of Claude Code using a regular terminal by executing the command “claude mcp add-from-claude-desktop.” Consequently, I now I am able to use the “/mcp” command again. I’m leaving this information here in case someone else encounters the same situation and receives a blank error message.
