[BUG] Claude Code gets hung up when I suggest a change - flashes / flickers / unresponsive

What's Wrong?

Using Claude Code on Windows 11 in VS Code Command Prompt. Just installed latest version - 2.0.76 (Claude Code)

Testing making a sample app, in planning mode, and I suggest one thing different from it's default plan, and then it goes crazy. See video. Will sit doing this for a long time. Pressing Esc does not stop it. Pressing Ctrl + C repeatedly will stop it, but then I need to start from scratch.

What Should Happen?

It shouldn't get hung up, should just do what I told it.

2. When prompted to accept something, provide custom instruction instead
3. Acts up
