[BUG] ERROR Cannot assign to read only property '0' of object '[object String]'

What's Wrong?

When I try to start claude code, I get the error ERROR Cannot assign to read only property '0' of object '[object String]'

claude --version 2.0.76 (Claude Code)

node --version v20.19.6

macOS 26.1 (25B78)

iTerm2 Build 3.6.6

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should run.
