Display/Size related deprecation in API 30

  • Use Context.getDisplay() instead.
• Display
  • getSize(point)
    • Use WindowManager.getCurrentWindowMetrics() to obtain an instance of WindowMetrics and use WindowMetrics.getBounds() instead.
  • getMetrics()
    • Use WindowMetrics.getBounds() to get the dimensions of the application window area, and Configuration.densityDpi to get the current density

Hi @sidkulkarni11 - we don't typically assign issues to people, and developers typically just use comments to communicate with each other that they are working on something / ask if someone is still working on it / comment that they no longer have time are no longer working on it etc, so that people may coordinate without maintainer intervention (allowing maintainers to focus on PRs...)
