All settings suddenly gone, can't get them back
Chrome suddenly crashed, and after restoring I received a prompt from script safe asking if I wanted to synchronize with google. I said no, and it said that it disabled synch to prevent the overwrite of data. My guess is that the browser crash resulted in some loss of data. The problem is, I can't find a place to import the settings from google. I can't even find where they are stored.
I see a place to manually import settings, but in the meantime there is nothing remaining from my settings I spent months training. There isn't even anything in the whitelist outside of google video. Worse still, I can't manually enter anything into the whitelist. EVERY domain I add now says it's an invalid domain. I am locked out of email, data storage, video, work, etc. unless I disable scriptsafe. and I am sure it's script safe, because the moment I disabled scriptsafe everything works again.
Considering that others have had synching issues, I'm glad I told it not to synch - I'd hate for that to be overwritten with this empty list - but how do I get it all back?
If I could at least find out where the data is stored I could download that manually and restore manually, but it's not in my google drive. where is it?
hi,
I think this is the same erroneous behavior we experienced here: ScriptSafe settings continually being reset #336
