[BUG]Not all messages on iOS device. Is there a limit in the number of messages?

I am running a Gotify server now for several weeks. I installed iGotify docker and the companian apps on mu Iphone and iPad. Runs smooth!! Push notification comming in.

But after a few days I noticed that on my iOS iGotify app I only see the messages from the last couple of days. On the Gotify server there are hunderds but on the my iPhone only 100 or so.

Is there a limit of the number of messages stored on the iPhone? Can I resync ? I can pull the windows down and then the app is looking for new messages. But never syncs full.

Hi it's only sync the latest 100 message, because a minimum of users need 100+ old messages.

Thank you for your quick reply. Maybe you could make a setting with sync only last x days or max sync xx messages. Then the user can decide him self.

I run a script on the server that cleans up old messages.

I am a big fan of Gotify. I am sending messages from Home Assistant, Sonarr, Uptime Kuma, Node Red, Head Pump, Alarm system, etc. So I get far more messages then 100 per day.

This is no critic. I really appreciate the great work you did developing this iOS push server and client. I used it several times a day. Thank you very very much.
