Problem installing android x86 on hard drive
Hello I have been having a problem when installing android on my hard drive and the installer does not detect my hard drive. On the contrary if it detects me when I connect a usb. I would like you to give me a solution to this problem! I am looking forward to your response. Thank you
Post your hardware specs

I have tried switching to AHCI mode but my motherboard does not have that function available. Is there any alternative to this situation?
try this commands running live: cat /proc/partitions and dmesg |grep SCSI
My situation is the next:
- First, when I downloaded the 32-bit version of android-x86-8.1-r1, I noticed that I could not install the system on my internal hard drive since it did not appear, I installed it on a 4GB storage pendrive and connected it through USB 2.0 ports The system started but during use I experienced unexpected reboots (for example, when I used youtube or opened and closed applications quickly, the system crashed and restarted and the same thing always happened).
- Secondly, I downloaded the version of android-x86_64-8.1-r2 and edited the files (kernel and system.img) and noticed that the internal disks appeared but I decided to install it on the same pendrive that I mentioned earlier. What happens to me now in this case is that the screen is stopped in detecting androidx86 ... found at / dev / sdb1 x86_64: / # _. I also tried using the "nomodeset" command but the screen is black. I have been told that it can be the graphics card.
I HOPE WITH ANSIA THAT YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THIS SITUATION. I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY. THANK YOU!
I'm not a developer. Never seen one answering. I might not be the right guy to help... anyway i'm a little experienced with some installations so i'll try but don't put all your hopes on me :). What changes did you make on kernel and system.img? are you using grub?
I changed my mind and I will not install this system. Anyway thanks for answering :)
