phpunit doesn't run

I know this project is abandoned, so I'm opening this issue just to let everyone know. It's impossible to test this library, because it wrongly requires phpunit stable (which is currently incompatible). It's also not possible to install a compatible version of phpunit unless you can use PHP 7.
