Show tags in chapter overview enhancment request
Greetings, I'm using the supporters edition. Let's say that I've got a chapter and I'm writing about an object. I remember that several chapters ago I'd done some setup for this object but now that I'm writing about it I want to go back and refresh my memory on exactly how my characters referred to / interacted with it. And because I didn't explicitly state what it was (because the characters didn't know what it was at the time) I didn't label it with a term that I can easily search for. Now, if this had been a character or strand, it shows up with a great detailed location in the analysis tab, but objects don't show up there. So how do I find it? Well, that's the wonderful thing about tags! I tagged the scene!
Great! Hrm. Where do I start? I think I tagged it in three chapters. Hrm. One of them I know the character describes it badly because they don't understand it. But the other two it's just there as something they have. So I start my process.
Click on Chapters, click on the first possible chapter, click on the first scene, click on tags, scroll down. Nope. Escape. Escape. Click on the the second scene, click on tags, scroll down. Nope. Escape. Escape. Click on the the third scene, click on tags, scroll down. Nope. Escape. Escape. Click on the the X+1 scene, click on tags, scroll down. Oh! Has the tag, but not the scene I want. Nope. Escape. Escape. Escape. Click on the second possible chapter, click on the the first scene, click on tags, scroll down. Nope. Escape. Escape. Click on the the second scene, click on tags, scroll down. Nope. Ect ect ect....You get my point. It's tedious sometimes.
It would be incredible if the scenes showed the tags that were associated with that scene. Then I open the chapter, look at the scenes and know which characters are in each, where they are, what objects are there, narrative strand, ect. I don't even think anything else needs to be shown about the tags other than the tags themselves. It would give me a great overview of what each scene included really quickly.
Thoughts? Thanks!
