Background color copied to clipboard when pasting to another app.
There is an issue with Dark mode (a bug) when the user has dark mode enabled (which hurts less on the eyes) and then copies the description text (the content) from Bibisco to the clipboard and then pastes it to another application that recognizes rich text.
When the user does that and pastes the Bibisco text into another app, it will be copied with each line in black background. This not only looks awful on the target application, but it also shouldn't be so either. The target application usually has a white background and it looks like a mess.
I think this can be easily solved by stripping having Bibisco strip the background color (Black) attribute from the copied rich text. The current workaround is not handy: switch to normal mode (lots of keystrokes) to then copy and go back to dark mode.
Users sometimes copy their Bibisco text to other applications (Grammarly, Hemingway, etc.) or even web applications.
In the short term, if you are pasting just text and not trying to keep formatting, you can use Cmd+Shift+V on Mac or Crtl+Shift+V on Windows and it will paste while removing all formatting. This will get rid of the background colour and alternate text color for that paste.
That's not a long term solution but it should help the frustration a bit for now.
V is for pasting into Bibisco right? but I am talking about Copying the text from Bibisco in dark mode to some other application or web page. When I paste the text into the web page textbox, the dark background is also copied.
Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear, I know the issue is when you are copying information from Bibisco and then pasting it elsewhere.
I was just letting you know that temporarily, while this is still a problem with Bibisco, you can use the Ctrl+Shift+V on your keyboard when you are pasting the data elsewhere and it will remove the formatting so that the dark background is not brought along with it. It's not perfect but it's just a bit of info for you or anyone else frustrated with this right now.
