Docs are kind of light

Hello, I'm learning amplitude and I'm trying to follow along the docs.

There is a section on installation. Then the docs kind of go dead. There is GH link to examples (using tag manager, scripts tag, and requireJS), which I use neither (using Webpack). Maybe I'm not missing it, but are therre any 'getting started' docs that can take me further that installation? Maybe an example of setting up a first event or something similar? I've seen the JS Docs, which are great for documenting the api, but it doesn't really give any context.
