HikariPool Exception during pool initialization

Hello World,

I am following the course on spring, and I have gotten through everything with no issue, until the part where I need to connect to the database. As I have said in the title, after Hikari fails to start, the first line in the stack trace is : org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Something unusual has occurred to cause the driver to fail. Please report this exception.

then a dozen lines later it says: Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Null value for 'password'

what could be causing it to fail?

P.S sorry for posting this here, but couldn't find a fix for this issue anywhere
