Hi @lossius, just a quick follow-up... In atk-sc3 this is implemented via #5 (Implement Diametric decoder), which is still listed as open....

Also... is this the pantophonic (2D) decoder?

I'm going to re-open as a query, particularly in relation to #5.

The current implementation can be found here.

Note, this returns a weighted matrix that isn't strictly correct for ideal decoding.
