Nested circuits don't work.

Open ghost opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

Used both middle clicking in Creative and breaking it in survival. Placing it as normal circuit works, but when i put it on another circuit, it doesnt work. First i thought it was rotated wrongly(BTW can i rotate them?) , so i inputed signals from different sides, i made shure that input wire was set to input, nothing seemed wrong. Yet it doesn't work. I tried making SET/RESET latch, AND gate, OR gate, and none of them worked. I was using FTB HermitCraft.

Edit: By them not working I mean that inputs are enabled, but nothing happens at output

Also, I hope that big bundled cables and colored wires which enable 256 states will be added, because now I can't connect two circuits on different sides of a block.

This is a problem with circuits in circuits. They seem to only allow inputs with the default light grey wire and even this often doesn't work properly. Also you can't rotate any component except the lever, so this shouldn't be a problem

Hi. I just figured out that i forgot to set the output from the circuit when i was making it in full size. But another problem appeared: trying to place a circuit in circuit in circuit exits world to main men saying "java.lang.illegalargumentexception payload may not be larger than 32767 bytes". Is this supposed to happen?

Sounds like you are using a scm version older than 1.0.4 or not the current mcmp version. On 1.0.4 it will either not place it or just crashes the ciruit and not the world or the client (as far as I know)

1 input and 1 output of different colours per side, is working currently
