Thanks for sharing your code! It's a very powerful extension to Zim :)

If you would like me to split into separate "issues", please let me know.

1- Isn't it necessary for the pre-processing to also define the STAGING_DIR variable?

2- The steps you mention under post-processing, are they included in your script or do they have to be run manually? If manually, would it be possible to provide instructions?

3- Does this script need a certain Gtk3 version to run successfully? Am asking as my first tests all ended up with python errors and I found this: https://github.com/zim-desktop-wiki/zim-desktop-wiki/issues/725 But I do run version 3.22.

1. Yes it is. I am working on improving the code, and will include it.
2. I will add instructions in the new code
3. It does - but I have not yet tested it to say for sure.

In short - I need to rebuild it for the latest Zim, then these issues would be ironed out
