Object and field picker : Filtering the Object available by type

I want to filter the list of field available based on their type (dropdown, data, datetime, etc...). I found a parameter DataTypeFilter, but when I try to use it, it does not filter anything.

Since I cannot find documentation on the field here , I don't know if my request is a help request, a bug or a feature request.
