Unable to use secrets because it can't connect to server

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch secrets pane for the first time
2. It shows an error message "Could not download latest data:Operation could 
not be completed 
(HTTP Status error code 500'
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm guessing some preferences I can change

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.04 OS - 10.5.3

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm connected to Internet, so it can't be a connectivity issue

I am having the exact same issue.
- OS X 10.5.3
- I just downloaded the pref pane today
