(Attempt to) Reduce startup time

I'm currently using Atom Beta (64-bit) on a Windows 10 machine, but this happenes systematically also with the Stable (32-bit) version. Git (64-bit) is updated to the last available version here.

With git-plus enabled (default options): image

Yes, please reduce the loading time.

Even though I love it, I have to disable it now 😢

This is interesting. I've been interested in reducing the startup time though it's only about 115ms for me.

I'm not sure how to replicate this without a windows machine. I'll keep this open though because it's something I want to improve

By trying to reproduce the bug I came up with a solution:

This setting lowered the startup time to only 200ms.

MBP 2016. It is 117ms, still high. I wish it can only takes 1/3 of this.

Now, it double the loading time with version 7.3.3
