Graphically representing audio seems much more viable than the trial-and-error pausing approach and could potentially make segment submission faster

Maybe something like this. Dragging on the blue adjusts the time. The waveform being a zoomed in period of time surrounding that timestamp.

That looks good indeed, I wonder how precisely can the user input that though. Maybe allow for scroll wheel as well?
