Migrate AirMessage for web to Google Identity Services

Google Sign-In JavaScript will be discontinued on March 31, 2023.

AirMessage for web will have to migrate to Google Identity Services, and adapt to a split permissions system, where users are able to approve contacts access separately.

why do we even need contacts? should just read from the imessage server, cause my cloud contacts arent in google

I was wondering the same thing, why use google's contacts instead of the primary source.
