Is there a way to get rid of the music part playing by the phone while recording
Hi, @adrielcafe Thanks for this great recorder lib! I'm using it to record an audio like karaoke. Most of it works fine, except that the music part is too louder than the human part. (When I record the singing, I use the phone to play music at the same time). Thanks for your time! :)
Hi @RockyLin. Thanks man! Let me know if I understand, you want to hide this "play recording" button below?

I can add and option for that.
Hi @adrielcafe , what @RockyLin actually meant was that he records with mic while playing a karaoke beat simultaneously from the speaker of his phone. The resulted audio file has the karaoke beat part too loud. Is there anyway your AndroidAudioRecorder can help solve this problem by controlling the beat part volume properly?
As a matter of fact, I have been encountering the same issue. Greatly appreciate if you could help us, thank you, @adrielcafe !!! ;)
@geek-paulwong & @RockyLin The developer does not have any control over an "outside" intereference IE music playing in the background... the library is used to record the voice...so only you have control over the volume of the background music..so here are some suggestions:
- Have the user wear ear/headphones.
- when playing the music...control the volume when the user is recording.
@Xstar97 Thanks for your reply! I'm aware of that. It would be a better experience if the user does not have to worry about the volume of the music beat when recording.
@RockyLin You might as misinterpreted what I meant...you(the developer) controls the music playing in the background NOT the user however that may be a good feature to implement since some of your users might want to control the background music volume when recording(or when finishing the audio). It's just a suggestion though. Note: The developer of the library "could" add a method to play background music & add the ability to control the background music volume when the recording has stopped. Again only a suggestion.
@adrielcafe Could you help us with this issue? Love to hear from you! ;)
@Xstar97 You do not really know what we are talking about... ;( We want an Karaoke effect that takes care of the speaker sounds (they can cause echos, and feed back into the mic, and this could be headaches).
Hi all, I have used this recorder for my Karaoke app. I am simultaneously playing the karaoke and the recorder. But the sound quality is not good as it should be in the karaoke apps. So can anyone please help me out in achieving this result.
