custom code compatibility

Hi there!

I discovered the new esphome feature, plugging directly into the GitHub repo and updating the esp when the repo is updated. I find that quite exciting.

BUT

• will this be compatible with custom codes? For instance, I edited the original source code to make some light when RFID reading is ok or ko, creating a wifi quality sensor, or creating a custom service of music and light effects when my alarm is about to be triggered.
• will this be compatible if I cahnge esp type? Moving towards esp32 with c3 mini for instance.
