Possibly add maintainers to this repo? Is this project dead?
It seems like issues and pull requests are not happening, if this project is no longer being maintained, could we please either add some maintainers or archive it?
It's not dead... More like in hibernation. I do think maintainers might be a good idea, but I've always been a bit iffy on the notion of sharing the ability to publish the extension given it's linked to my name etc. I'll give it some thought.
I completely understand, it's not easy opening up pet projects to other people, especially when your name is attached. Just thinking out loud, but perhaps you could transfer it to another Github account (controlled by you that is), that is a more generic name? Kind of like how I don't use my actual name for my public projects, but use the WebDevNerdStuff name instead.
Either way, thank you for your time and efforts on this extension, I pretty much harassed others devs I work with to use it! It's been a very useful tool for me when building things.
You can maybe create an organization for this project. I was looking to contribute to it and saw you have 200+ issues open.
Knowing you have 5M downloads on the vscode marketplace it would be interesseting to have the community helping to improve this project.
@aaron-bond You are amazing! I really appreciate your work and your vision for this project. It is such a useful and powerful tool for VScode users. I have a question for you: what do you think about #496? I noticed that there are many open Issues and PRs and I wonder how you manage them all. The VScode extension has almost 6 million downloads now, which is incredible! I believe the community would love to support you and help you maintain your standards.
