[BUG] Colours in HomeKit don't match when the Brightness is over ~75%

Open xhi-nico opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Noticing that colours don't match the temperature in HomeKit when the Brightness is set over around 75%.

The colours are exactly the right amounts when they are set in MagicHome at 100%, though if HomeKit is setting the colours at 100%, it doesn't produce the same result. This occurs on the colour RED and BLUE the most.

If you lower the brightness to 75%, the colours set fine in HomeKit.

  • Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4

  • OS: Homebridge Native install with Raspbian Lite

  • Homebridge version 1.1.7

  • Homebridge MagicHome Dynamic Platform version 1.9.2

I've been noticing this too. I'm not too sure why this happens specifically but I think its something to do with grammar correction. This page shows it quite well: https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Lights/#gamma-correction. If anyone is reading this and knows about perceived colour etc, getting in contact with me would be great!
